The development of the Malanti field is ongoing and the plantations begin with sweet potatoes! This species is particularly well adapted to the landscape of small mountains and hills with rocks in Eswatini, as well as its tropical climate. The sloping ground was shaped into a mounded plot where the sweet potatoes were implanted.
Sweet potatoes are a very good component of meals as they are starchy. Moreover, there have a nutritional value in minerals and antioxidants. This makes them an ideal plant for Malanti’s garden!
