Since 2012, Designing Hope has been developing permaculture gardens in southern Africa to help people become self-sufficient. The garden, developed by women who were trained by Designing Hope, promotes sustainable, family and ecological farming methods in the Hlohlo region of Swaziland.
Hot meals are also distributed to children of the area and vegetables are used to supply the school canteens.
