First cabins at Malanti’s garden, Eswatini

The construction of little cabins has just started.

These cabins are the result of a local and sustainable economy: they have been made using wood from local forest production and have been assembled by a company located near the center. Two units have been built for now, which enable the gardeners to store their tools, to shelter, to eat, as well as a bathroom block, where we are experiencing dry toilets, an initiative that is met with some cultural reluctance which we hope will disappear with time…

Over the year, more cabins will be built to welcome workshops, and reception units for volunteers and solidarity tourism, as part of the Garden of Skills project. Garden of skills – DesigningHope
