After three years in operation, the Levi’s Nek farm has now reached a particularly encouraging level of production. Vegetable crops are gradually expanding, reflecting the consistent hard work and dedication of the teams on the ground.
Grown without any chemical inputs, the crops rely solely on natural inputs, notably biochar and manure from the farm’s animals. This approach respects the soil and the environment, and is fully in line with the principles of sustainable agriculture.
These results are all the more promising as they represent a significant source of motivation for the young people involved in the project. Seeing the farm’s productivity increase, season after season, strengthens their commitment and paves the way towards a key objective: gradually achieving food self-sufficiency.
A positive dynamic that illustrates the potential of local, sustainable agriculture with a promising future.
