Supporting the most vulnerable through produce from the Levi’s Nek Educational Farm, Lesotho

At Levi’s Nek, agriculture is becoming a real driver of solidarity.
The Ivory Foundation recently purchased some of the produce from the local farm to put together parcels of fresh vegetables.

These hampers were then distributed to patients living with HIV who are being treated at the nearby health centre. This initiative both supports local agricultural production and improves access to healthy, nutritious food for particularly vulnerable people.

Beyond its impact on food security, this initiative also helps to embed the team of young deaf and hard-of-hearing people within the Levi’s Nek community. Through this gesture of solidarity, their commitment is recognised and valued, strengthening social ties within the local area.
