As part of the activities organised at the Traversine Villiot garden in partnership with the Paris’Anim centre (CLAJE), the group of young gardeners took part today in preparing the mandala garden and planting Jerusalem artichokes.
Following the weeding session and the spinach harvest, the mandala was carefully prepared to welcome new spring crops. A mixture of topsoil and compost was added to the different sections of this circular vegetable garden in order to enrich the soil and support future planting.
Meanwhile, a second group planted Jerusalem artichokes around the circular plot surrounding the garden kiosk. It was a wonderful opportunity for the children to discover this traditional vegetable while actively taking part in the life of the garden.
