From seed sowing to planting at Traversine Bercy

After weeks of patience and care, the children were delighted to transplant the young plants grown from the seeds they had sown themselves during winter.

The seedlings have now been planted in the raised containers of the Traversine Bercy garden, where they will continue growing throughout the spring season.

Being able to observe every stage of a plant’s development — from seed to fruit production — is an essential part of learning in an educational garden. This process helps children better understand the cycles of nature while developing their observation skills, patience and involvement in the garden.
