Coverage of the greenhouse – Levis Nek

After installing the wooden poles, metal rods and ropes, the young people proceeded to cover the greenhouses with a sun-resistant textile, providing protection against the scorching rays of the sun and heavy seasonal rains in southern Africa. This textile was hand-sewn to the ground before being hoisted and fixed to the structure of the greenhouse. In addition, it was firmly fixed to the ground all around the greenhouse, in a trench dug for this purpose, to reinforce its resistance to the often violent wind in the region.
