🌾 St Paul’s School Educational Farm, Leribe – Lesotho

At St Paul’s School in Leribe, the six students training in agriculture are actively continuing their work on the educational farm set up by The Ivory Foundation.
In recent weeks, they have been able to harvest spinach grown both in the Palisa Garden — the garden run in collaboration with the school children — and on the crop beds intended to supply the school canteen.

This dual activity combines practical learning with social utility: the students gain hands-on experience in managing vegetable crops while directly contributing to improving the pupils’ diet.

The spinach harvests supplement the meals served in the canteen, increasing the proportion of fresh produce from the farm in the children’s meals.
The programme, supported by The Ivory Foundation, aims to promote sustainable food self-sufficiency while training young people in environmentally friendly agricultural practices.
