Pedagogical board games in Laafi

The children of St Paul’s School for Deaf received games designed by Designing Hope and made in France and Burkina Faso.

First, they received a game of goose biodiversity that is played with cards and pawns moving on trail printed on a plastic sheet. The association has developed 2 versions of this game: one for France, the other onefor Africa. This game helps to raise the awareness of young people about environmental problems and their consequences on plant and animal biodiversity.

The children also received a set of hand-painted dominoes on the theme of vegetables, straight from Burkina Faso.
This game is made in metal sheet and painted by Solstène an artist of the Laafi center, in Koudougou. This version of a very old game, originated from China, allows the youngest to get acquainted with the names of fruits and vegetables while reviewing the numbers.
