As the weather was rainy, the activity with the nursery school children took place under the covered playground area, with games centred around vegetables from the garden.
Today, the children discovered a new game created as a unique handmade piece by the association Designing Hope. Combining memory and lotto, the game focuses on seasonal vegetables.
The children were divided into pairs to form four teams, each representing one of the four seasons. The aim of the game was for each team to find, as quickly as possible, the vegetables belonging to its season.
The vegetable tokens were placed face down in the centre of the table. To win a pair, the children had to turn over two vegetables matching their season. If the vegetables did not correspond, the turn passed to the next team.
This playful activity helped the children learn about vegetables and the seasons while developing their memory, observation skills and team spirit.
