At La Traversine Bercy, nursery school children enjoyed a wonderful gardening experience: harvesting the carrots they had sown last spring in growing boxes.
After several months of care and observation, they were finally able to gently pull their orange roots out of the ground, discovering beautiful carrots!
Once harvested, the carrots were washed, peeled and cut into small rounds for tasting on the spot.
The children loved it: the mild flavour and natural sweetness of their own vegetables was unanimously appreciated.
A wonderful reward for these little gardeners, proud to taste the fruits of their patience and continuous attention!
