Thanks to the fund-raising campaign launched a few months ago by Designing Hope, the women of the Garden of Skills were able to produce uniforms in their workshop for the neighbouring schools in Malanti. Each child received a tunic or shirt and trousers, carefully made by the Garden’s seamstresses. The selection of pupils was carried out by the schools’ social workers, in order to target the most disadvantaged children, for whom a new uniform was a real necessity.
