Maracas recycled with children from the Bercy kindergarten

Children from the Bercy kindergarten made unique, colorful maracas by reusing applesauce containers. To begin with, they applied a coat of varnish to the packaging to make it easier for the paint to adhere. They then chose a solid color to paint the background.

For the second stage, the imagination took over: some added patterns such as dots, triangles or stripes, while others drew faces or little houses. Once the decoration was complete, the containers were filled with lentils to produce the sound, then attached to a wooden handle and varnished to protect them.

These maracas, both playful and ecological, are now ready to accompany the musical rhythms of the children!
