The gardening team at the Roosboom Halfway House is now proudly wearing its new working suits made by the women trained in sewing at Garden of Skills. 🧵✨
Every day, the gardeners maintain the many plots prepared for the southern winter, mainly spinach and cabbages, both inside the greenhouse and in the outdoor growing areas. 🥬🌿
These new uniforms also symbolise the strong connection between the different projects supported by Designing Hope, linking vocational training, economic empowerment and community-based agricultural production across Eswatini, Lesotho and South Africa.
