Intervention on the Dimbo borehole – Senegal

posted in: Senegal, Water management

Dimbo is one of the first villages on the outskirts of Dawady to be supported by The Ivory Foundation and its local partners Eau Claire and Le Kaicedrat.
Gilbert, a technician from Le Kaicedrat responsible for maintaining drilling equipment and pumps, intervened to replace faulty valves and restore access to water in the village’s shared garden, which had been severely affected by drought.

The speed of this intervention is essential to preserve the work of women and protect crops, ensuring the continuity of vegetable production and food security for families.
