Transplanting strawberry runners

The strawberries love the Garden of Skills just as much as the women in the garden love the strawberries…
Just the thing… The plants have produced a huge number of runners, which the women have taken care to transplant onto new beds.

Stolons are long, thin, aerial stems that act as vegetative propagators. New strawberry plants grow along the stems, rooting easily and making strawberry propagation simple and inexpensive. The stems can be cut off quickly and the new plants transplanted to new beds.
