Recyled cans transformed into flowers

These flowers were made with cut cans, with the children of Macambeni, to decorate their playroom.
In Swaziland there is no recycling. Plastic bottles and cans often find themselves burned in a corner of the garden, or village. As long as no alternative collection is not put in place, it is important to sensitize the populations not to mix such ashes in the ground in order not to pollute the cultivated lands.
Empty bottles can also be used for garden irrigation, which is a way to reuse them if they are not recycled.
