Maintaining the vegetable garden at the Handiscole school in Rufisque, Senegal

For the children at Handiscole’s inclusive Petits Princes school in Rufisque (Senegal), tending the vegetable garden on the school’s roof terrace is an enjoyable activity that gives them the satisfaction of
contributing to its astonishing productivity.

Installed in 2022 by Designing Hope, with the support of Marie Munoz, the garden combines education, nutrition and ecology, with all containers made from recycled plastic laid out on durable metal structures designed by the
association and manufactured by a local metalworker.
