The Ivory Foundation has been supporting St Paul’s School for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing in Leribe since 2015. While this support has until now focused mainly on setting up vegetable and animal protein production facilities to feed the children, this year the school has been given a helping hand to renew the 188 mattresses for the children attending the school.
At the same time, the foundation has organised metal-working training for the oldest pupils, so that they can help repair damaged bed frames that are easy to salvage.
