The children at Bercy school are proud to have grown their own tomato plants !
Back in February, they sowed seeds in cups set up in the school playground. At the end of March, the young shoots were transplanted to the greenhouses on the school roof, where they benefited from the warmth and sunshine.
Today, these robust plants are ready to be installed in the Traversine Bercy and Villiot gardens.
This experience will enable them to understand the cultivation cycle, from germination to harvest, and to enjoy the fruits of their labor soon!
