With the support of The Ivory Foundation, a new plot of land has just been acquired to extend the farm.
This plot is modest in size, but essential for the future of the project, as it can be built on.
It will be dedicated to the future construction of small individual housing units for the youths who have been involved in the project for several years and who would like more independence, which will also have the advantage of freeing up space in the dormitory to accommodate new students trained at the St Paul’s School for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing.
The team is extremely supportive of each other, and it is essential that the strongest members of the farm are encouraged to stay as long as possible to look after the new arrivals, or those who are more dependent, particularly those with disabilities that prevent them from looking after themselves.
