On their first day at Traversine Bercy, the kindergarteners from the Bercy School had the opportunity to visit the garden and discover the different fruits and vegetables that grow there: beans, strawberries, squash, cherry tomatoes…
By observing the inside of a bean pod, they learned that every plant starts life as a seed and, once grown, can produce new seeds of its own!
This visit to the garden was an opportunity for the children to enjoy a bit of nature in the heart of the city and gain a better understanding of the life cycle of plants, from seed to harvest.
