A greenhouse dedicated to peppers at Levi’s Nek

The young farmers at Levi’s Nek have dedicated one of their greenhouses to growing peppers. Transplanted from the nursery a few weeks ago, the plants are now firmly established.

The beds have been carefully weeded to ensure good growing conditions and limit competition for water and nutrients.

In the coming days, companion plants will be introduced to optimise space, enrich the soil and promote a more resilient ecosystem within the greenhouse — an approach that is faithful to the principles of agroecology.
