A festive harvest at St Paul’s School before the summer holidays

Before the school closed for the summer holidays — which take place in December and January in southern Africa — the six young students training at St Paul’s School’s educational farm in Leribe had an exceptional harvest. They have worked hard and carefully tended the garden over the past few months, and were able to harvest beautiful vegetables to prepare a festive meal for the 200 boarding students, all of whom are deaf or hard of hearing. This was a source of great pride for these young gardeners, whose work directly benefits all the school’s boarders. This moment of sharing was the crowning glory of a wonderful season in the garden.
