Ndioum is one of the 20 villages visited by Bala’s mobile team in eastern Senegal. The Ivory Foundation financed the creation of a shared vegetable garden for the women of the village. This plot has been fenced off to protect the crops from roaming animals. The vegetable garden is supplied with water by a borehole, connected to 2 water collection basins to bring the water close to the women’s plots.
