The composter of La Traversine is preparing to digest the harvest of dead leaves from the past winter! We organized the composter in 2 bins, one stock the brown leaves collected from the schoolyard, and the second is used to break them down by alternating them (which constitute the contribution in carbonaceous material), with nitrogenous materials, that we collect in the neighborhood, with the support of organic shop “Biocoop d’Aligre”, rue Beccaria, who keeps us its unsold vegetables, and the peelings of the brewery “l’Entrepôt” , located rue de Bercy that we collect every week.
