It is autumn, it is time to enrich and to refill the tubs of the mandala and the Keyhole of the garden of the Traversine Bercy in order to prepare the tubs to welcome new cultures.
The bins have been lined in layers, using dead leaves in the lower part mixed with topsoil. The plane tree leaves, collected from the schoolyard in autumn 2021, have begun to decompose and are a natural fertiliser that will help us to maintain a light and airy substrate in the bins. This work was carried out with the help of the children from Bercy elementary school.
The containers will be used for seedlings and spinach shoots grown in the Jardin de la Traversine Villiot.
