Precision scales for seed harvests

To improve the organisation and distribution of locally produced seeds, a precision scale has been made available to the various seed projects. This tool will make it easier to weigh harvests and prepare batches for storage or distribution. This equipment marks an important step in the professionalisation of those in charge of these projects, with the support of The Ivory Foundation and the Marie-Pierre Crosnier Mangeat Foundation. In the same vein, The Ivory Foundation has also supplied resealable (zip) storage bags in two sizes, now in use at the various production sites. These enable seeds to be packaged in optimal conditions prior to storage or distribution. Small items of equipment, but essential for organising and enhancing local seed production.
