Education for a healthy and balanced diet, and in sufficient quantity, is one of the primary objectives of the educational gardens that we are developing especially in Africa.

Eating habits are acquired from an early age. It is important to provide children with basic taste training by increasing opportunities for discovery. Nutrition education is needed to educate them about the effects of diet on their health, and for explaining the importance of dietary diversity.
