Distribution of food parcels for patients treated at Piggs Peak Hospital

At Piggs Peak Hospital, Designing Hope, with the support of The Ivory Foundation, organises the regular distribution of food parcels for HIV-positive patients treated by the department.
These parcels contain fresh vegetables, including cabbages harvested from the Malanti Garden of Skills by the women in the programme, as well as dried beans, oil and other essential food items.
This initiative aims to support a balanced diet, which is essential to accompany treatment, while creating a concrete link between local production and the needs of the community.
It is a solidarity initiative that improves the health and well-being of the most vulnerable beneficiaries.
