Designing Hope invited to celebrate 10 years of Parisculteurs

To mark the 10th anniversary of the Parisculteurs project, the association Designing Hope was invited to present its educational garden, La Traversine, at an event organized by the DEVE on the Jardin des Traverses.

La Traversine garden, installed on the roof of the Bercy school in 2017, was one of the first Parisculteurs award-winning sites.

Designing Hope developed an urban agriculture space there, combining permaculture and intercultural exchanges.

Visitors were able to discover the educational games used at Traversine Bercy, such as the vegetable memory game, the seed domino and the biodiversity goose game.

These activities illustrate the association’s playful and educational approach to raising awareness among the younger generation of the challenges of sustainable agriculture in an urban environment.
