The young residents of Levi’s Nek Farm, who are deaf and hard of hearing, are building a second greenhouse as an extension to the first. This will give them a covered area of 400m2 for market gardening. This space will have a major impact on the farm’s productivity, as it will enable plants to grow sheltered from the vagaries of the climate (intense cold in winter, scorching sunshine, heavy rain and violent storms in summer).
