Assembling the trays for the Traversine Bercy terrace

It’s assembly time !

Once all the materials have been reassembled on the roof, installation can begin. The Douglas fir boards have been pre-cut to size according to the new garden plans. Once the boards have been screwed in place, custom-made water reservoir troughs are inserted, containing clay marbles that will provide an important water reserve for the plants, as the optimal exposure of the roof terrace can cause the soil to dry out quickly, bearing in mind that weight constraints limit the depth of the wooden trays. Once the logs have been placed, a geotextile is stapled to the wood before the soil is laid.
