Watering the garden at the Petits Princes school in Rufisque

Set up in 2021 by Designing Hope with the support of Marie Munoz, the garden installed on the roof terrace of the Petits Princes school in Rufisque (Senegal) brings many benefits to the children of this inclusive school. Supervised by Joseph, the garden’s manager, the children take an active part in sowing, maintaining and watering the garden, while the vegetables produced are used and processed in the school canteen to enhance the meals served to the children. The terrace has also become a pleasant place for the children to spend time.
