The Macambeni Garden has required a lot of work to make it workable, given its sloping configuration. The women of Fundzisa Live work together every week to create new terracing cultivation beds. They also mix fertile and less fertile soil, collected from different location on the land, adding also biochar and compost, to enrich the soil and to make it more homogeneous.
