For more than a year now, young deaf and hard of hearing people supported by The Ivory Foundation have been running St Monica’s educational farm in Leribe, Lesotho.
The farm is fortunate to be located close to a borehole, and benefits from a regular water supply throughout the year. The farm has become very productive and fertile. In this season, it’s time to harvest peppers and carrots.
On the road to financial independence for these 6 young people, who have magnificently overcome their handicap and proved their ability to successfully engage in working life.
