Gourel Diamyel is the 4th village around Dawady chosen to set up a market garden.
Although there are currently no vegetable gardens in the village, the recent installation of a borehole has facilitated the launch of this initiative. What’s more, a women’s group has been formed to get involved in this project, which holds great promise for this isolated village in eastern Senegal.
