Building a composter for the Traversine Bercy garden

La Traversine organizers have built a double-bin composter for the Bercy garden.

Specially designed for this above-ground garden, it will enable biomass from vegetable garden maintenance to be recycled.

The first bin will receive compostable waste to produce rich compost, which can then be reused in crops.

The second, smaller bin will be used to store grasses and unwanted weeds separately, to prevent the spread of seeds in the growing bins.

An initiative designed to reinforce the garden’s ecological approach and raise awareness of organic waste management!
