In the vegetable garden, women often use recycled water jerry cans for watering. With the sun and heat, these cans eventually become brittle and disintegrate, and some are left abandoned in the plots.
Rather than throwing them away, we have chosen to give them a second life: the containers are cut into long strips to make small signage panels. Using a marker, they can be used to indicate the name of the varieties sown and the date of sowing.
This simple act of recycling also helps to better monitor crops and strengthen the seed production project in the garden.
