The animals at Levi’s Nek farm

A new species of indigenous hen has been introduced to the Levi’s Nek farm, and they are impressive for their size and plumage. They are also capable of laying large eggs, which are highly prized on the local market.
The presence of several males enables the production of chicks that will increase the number of animals so that this activity provides an income for the farm. They cohabit with the sheep and share a nearby pen, but the sheep themselves go out during the day to the farm’s pasture under the supervision of the farm’s youngsters.
