Restoring Levi’s Nek’s greenhouse after a storm

Following a violent storm, an entire row of wooden posts making up the structure of the greenhouse at Levi’s Nek farm gave way at the base, swept away by the force of the wind on the stretched textile. With the support of The Ivory Foundation, the farm’s young residents rallied round to repair the damage as quickly as possible. They removed the cement blocks that held the old posts in place, then installed new, larger-diameter pillars set in concrete to restore stability to the structure.
