The women of the Malanti community wanted to install a mandala on their community garden plot in the Jardin des Savoir-Faire, just like the one on the main plot. This shared garden was set up by Dessine l’Espoir to welcome the women of the Malanti community and encourage them to each cultivate 3 individual plots to feed their families. The enclosed space, access to water and availability of tools make it an ideal place for them, and 16 women have already joined the programme. The mandala will be a shared space where the women can grow their own aromatics.
