Laying the roof on the individual houses at Levi’s Nek

posted in: Lesotho, Levi's Nek Farm

As part of The Ivory Foundation’s support for the Levi’s Nek farm in Lesotho, individual houses are being built for the most independent young occupants. These new homes will provide an improved living environment and the prospect of long-term investment in the farm for these young people, who may be tempted to leave the farm to start a family elsewhere. Their qualifications are an asset for the farm, which operates like a sibling group, with those who are more comfortable helping those who are less independent.
Another advantage is that these 3 new individual homes will free up beds in the dormitory to welcome new young people to the farm!
