At the Saint-Paul School for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing in Leribe, Lesotho, the children take part in the upkeep of the educational plots with the help of Tsephane, the school’s farm manager, and the 6 young students under his responsibility.
Two plots are maintained in collaboration with the school’s four classes. Every day, the youngest students take part in the vegetable garden activities with their teacher.
The aim of the project is to raise pupils’ awareness of nature, and introduce them to vegetable gardening. Today is harvest day! Satisfaction at seeing the fruits of their labor!
