Children from the Bercy kindergarten had the pleasure of picking the very first raspberries of the season in the Traversine Bercy garden.
Thanks to generous sunshine from the roof terrace, the fruit ripened two to three weeks ahead of schedule.
These sweet little red berries were a discovery for most of the children, who had never eaten them before.
This picking activity allowed them to discover the simple pleasure of harvesting what they saw growing, strengthening their connection with nature and their understanding of the plant life cycle.
