Construction of the sanitary block for the future single-family homes of the farm’s three young people has begun. These beneficiaries are the most committed and autonomous of the ten current residents.
The Ivory Foundation is building the sanitary block through a local contractor.
The three youths are involved in every stage of the construction process, in order to hone their skills in building techniques. They will then work together to erect their three houses, without the help of the contractor, all materials being financed by the Fund.
Once the walls will be in place, the roof will be put on by a professional roofer. The aim is to pass on this know-how, which will be highly valuable for the long-term upkeep of the farm.
