On the shared plot adjoining the Dawady health centre, the women have planted sweet potatoes in mounds of earth around 40 cm high. This technique improves drainage, concentrates nutrients and facilitates water retention during the winter, resulting in more abundant tuber production. They have also planted manioc and bitter aubergines, contributing to the food diversity of the plot. The Garden of Skills is a place for learning and sharing agricultural know-how, empowering the participants. This project has been supported by The Ivory Foundation since 2019 and continues to benefit the local community.
