In the Grande Section class of Bercy, we did an activity on vegetable painting.
We first presented the different vegetables, such as the red cabbage that we used to make different colors of paint. Then we carried out the various stages allowing the transformation of the red cabbage into painting.
During these different stages we focused on the transformation of red cabbage juice in contact with bicarbonate and vinegar allowing to create new colors other than the initial purple of red cabbage.
We managed to make 5 colors.
The 18 students are spread over 5 tables where a color was placed on each one.
The students changed tables every 5 to 10 minutes in order to have access to all the colors.
