At the Jardin de la Traversine Bercy, nursery school children took part in a fun and educational activity designed by the Designing Hope around vegetable plants.
A large illustrated board featuring 25 leaves of fruit and vegetables grown in the garden was created. Divided into two teams, the children were given a numbered list of plants to find. Armed with their board, they went through the alleys of the vegetable garden looking for the corresponding leaves. When they found one, they stuck a sticker in the right place on the board.
This leaf hunt aroused their curiosity about nature and the different species grown. A great way to combine observation, games and discovering the garden!
